About

Gendai Reiki Ho is brought to us by Hiroshi Doi Sensei and translates as modern Reiki method. Doi Sensei comes from the unique perspective of being a former Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai member with permission to include some of its material into his teachings with the outside world.

Gendai Reiki Ho is a fusion of both traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki methods. It is not a "new" Reiki but a modern way to practice older traditions.

We are taught that Usui Sensei strived for Satori/Anshin Ritsumei (enlightenment) in his life and achieved this on Mount Karuma. In our daily meditations and practices, we symbolically climb the mountain with Usui Sensei as we progress on our own path to Anshin Ritsumei (inner peace).

There are no time restrictions between each level of the system, although we strongly recommend truly practicing each level before advancing to the next.

The four levels of Gendai Reiki Ho are:

Shoden (level 1)  Beginners Level                                                                         $237

A two day class with an introduction of Reiki history and its Japanese origins. This level opens the reiki channel, the student learns meditations, breathing techniques and may begin treating the self and others on the very first day.

Okuden (level 2)   Inner Teaching                                                                     $237

A one day class, students will be introduced to three symbols and their kotodamas, traditional Reiki meditations and practices. this level strengthens the student's connection to reiki.

Shinpiden (level 3)    Mystery Teaching                                                           $477

A one day class, Students will be introduced to the fourth symbol and learn philosophical aspects of the system, working towards Anshin Ritsumei (inner peace).

Gokuikaiden (level 4) "Highest Level"                                                         $895

A one day class, students will dig deeper into the spiritual aspects of the system, continuing on the path of Anshin Ritsumei. Students will also learn how to pass the gift of reiki onto others.
